Children's Church meets every Sunday during the adult sermon time. Children's church is not a baby-sitting service, but real live church on a child's level. All workers are screened for 1) Safety 2) and their love for children.
Ministry is done through a variety of creative means. Each Sunday the kids play special games, do crafts and other things kids love. We have several large rooms for them to do ministry. Children's church starts at 6 and up.
Awana is a global, nonprofit ministry with fully integrated evangelism and long-term discipleship programs for ages 2 to 18 that actively involves parents and church leaders. Each week, more than 3.7 million children and youth, 470,000 volunteers and 260 field staff take part in Awana in over 47,000 churches around the world. Offered through local churches, Awana reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey.
Awana is an acronym for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, from 2 Timothy 2:15) Awana strives to: Reach Kids, Equip Leaders and Change the world.
Awana meets Every Friday at the church 6:30pm. We also meet in the Summer, but the program is much more light! Come and join. All welcomed.
Our church nursery is one of our most vital ministries. We provide a safe, comfortable, fun place for your children during the worship services. Parents are welcomed to bring their children at the beginning of church or whenever they are comfortable. All of our workers are screened legally and are dependable, wonderful people.
